Architects Vision
The project proudly nicknamed Architects Vision is a remarkable architectural endeavor that showcases the talent and vision of architect James Tuer. What makes this project even more special is the fact that it is the architect's own home, allowing him to fully express his creativity and design philosophy.
Contemporary Project | Gibsons, British Columbia

Located in Gibsons, BC, is a stunning example of modern architecture complemented by a thoughtful landscape design. James Tuer, who is not only an architect but also a landscape architect, has seamlessly integrated the indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a harmonious connection between the natural surroundings and the built environment.
The project features Kolbe Gallery's Ultra Series Aluminum Clad Wood Windows. The windows are adorned with a Timberwolf exterior finish colour, creating a sleek and modern aesthetic. The interiors boast a double clear coat of mixed grain fir, adding warmth and elegance to the living spaces.

With square profile glazing beads/stops and a modern profile, the windows offer both functionality and style. The dual-glazed glass ensures energy efficiency and optimal natural light transmission, giving you the best of both worlds.
Equipped with Encore-style matte black crank-out handles on the casement windows, the doors feature Dallas-style matte black door handles. The adjustable swing door hinges in black provide a seamless and cohesive look throughout the project.

This project is a true reflection of James Tuer's architectural prowess and his ability to create a harmonious blend of form and function. The exceptional partnership of James Tuer and Kolbe Gallery Vancouver has produced a remarkable residential work of art that beautifully illustrates the potential of bespoke window and door solutions.
