A Look Inside The Pearls of Luxury Living: The Clam House

Welcome to "The Clam House" – where luxury meets coastal charm in Beckett Point, nestled near Port Townsend on the waterfront.

Designed to blend indoor and outdoor living, The Clam House features multi-slide doors and large direct-set glass panels that frame panoramic views of the tranquil waters. Automated awnings and a custom entrance door with an operating sidelight ensures effortless access to the expansive outdoor spaces, where the homeowners can take in breathtaking sunsets and sea breezes.

The Clam House also features products from our Kolbe VistaLuxe WD line with clear-anodized exterior finish, and alder wood interior with our factory clear coat.

Situated on a site facing the southwest, this architectural gem takes full advantage of its natural surroundings, harnessing the low winter and high summer sun exposure to create a comfortable and inviting ambiance year-round. Glazing has been thoughtfully upgraded to provide additional reflection, ensuring optimal energy efficiency without compromising the view.

The choice of clear alder wood for the interior not only adds to the luxury but also ensures resilience in the face of the coastal environment. Pleated retractable screens offer protection from insects and critters, allowing the homeowners to enjoy the fresh sea air without any unwanted guests.

Architects from Studio STL specified Kolbe VistaLuxe WD windows and doors to provide a minimal all-square profile, maximizing daylight penetration and unobstructed views. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that every corner of The Clam House is bathed in natural light, creating a sense of serenity and spaciousness.
